About Masai Mara

The Maasai Mara National Reserve or the Mara as its popularly known, boasts for sheltering various wild animals like the lion, cheetah and other animals that annually migrate to and from Tanzania to the Masai Mara like the Gazelles, wildebeest and zebras and many more. During a game drive, you are likely to view the big 5 which is something most tourists coming to Kenya hope to see. Rainy seasons usually start from November all through to May with December being the peak. As for the dry seasons, expect them anywhere from June to November.

Day 1. Nairobi – Masai Mara.
Leave your Nairobi Hotel in the morning and drive through the dramatic landscape stopping at  Rift Valley view point for a brief photo session then proceed to Masai Mara arriving in good time for a ceremonial welcome at Sentrim Luxuru Tented Camp for lunch. Afternoon at relaxation in the honeymoon suite, dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Masai Mara.
Leave the Camp after breakfast  and tour this park to see the various wildlife associated with this park. Visit the Masai Mara river to see Crocos and Hippos. Return to the Camp for lunch. Afternoon at relaxation, dinner and overnight.

About Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park is flamingo land. It is home to a huge number of lesser flamingos. At any given time, every flamingo in the world seems to be at this beautiful shallow alkaline lake, just south of Nakuru town. The lake is a spectacular ocean of pink surrounded by forest and plains that are home other wildlife too. With a total area size of 368 square kilometers and home to more than 450 different kinds of birds, Lake Nakuru park is one of the finest ornithological sights in the world. The Lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth.

Day 3. Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru.
Leave Sarova in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in good time for lunch at Merica Hotel. Afternoon game drive in this park, dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Lake Nakuru – Lake Bogoria.
Early morning breakfast leave lake nakuru with packed lunch for Lake Bogoria which is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home of flamingoes  hot springs and the geysers. After lunch go back to Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at Merica Hotel

Lake Baringo

Lake Baringo is flamingo land. It is home to a huge number of lesser flamingos. At any given time, each flamingo on the planet is by all accounts at this delightful shallow soluble lake. The lake is a breathtaking sea of pink encompassed by woods and fields that are home other untamed life as well. Heaps of pink flamingoes whose numbers are an army, regularly more than a million, perhaps two, discover comfort at the lake. They eat the abundant green growth, which flourishes in the warm waters.

Day 5. Lake Nakuru – Lake Baringo.
Leave your Hotel after early breakfast and drive to enjoy game and bird  viewing heading to Lake Baringoarriving in time for Lunch at the Lodge or Camp check in and Have Lunch. Afternoon game drives to see this fresh water lake within the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy optional guided walk to see some birdlife then return to booked camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6. Lake Baringo – Thomsons Falls.
After early breakfast, drive to Thomsons Falla through Nakuru and stop briefly at Subukia Rift Valley view at the Equator point. Later proceed to Thomsons Falls arriving for lunch at Thomsons Falls Lodge. Afternoon at relaxation by these 83 feet falls as you marvel at this natural  wonder. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 7. Thomsons Falls – Nairobi Carnivore.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Nairobi through Gil Gil town and arrive in good time for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant- Africa’s largest eating place for the good bye lunch as you meet your safari host to brief him about your experience. Later you will be dropped to your Residence or Hotel to start your next program -probably a beach extension.
