10 Days of the Ultimate Kenya & Tanzania Luxury Lodge Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli (Approx. 4 hours)

You will be picked from the airport at 5.30/6a.m and immediately depart for Amboseli. You will arrive in Amboseli mid-morning. Check in at the lodge and later enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 3/4 O’clock for 2 hours.

Overnight: Ol Tukai or Amboseli Serena

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Amboseli – Full day

This day have a pre-breakfast and afternoon game drive. Afternoon game drive is at 3/4o’clock for 2 hours.

The rest of the time is spent in lodge’s facilities

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Amboseli – Transfer to Ngorongoro (Approx. 5-6 hours)

Have breakfast and immediately depart for Ngorongoro via Namanga border. You will have lunch en route. Arrive and relax at the lodge. The lodge has excellent views of the crater.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Crater tour & transfer to Serengeti (Approx. 3-4 hours)

After breakfast check out of the lodge with packed lunch and depart for a tour to the foot of the crater for a game drive. Spend the morning with a drive to the foot of the crater. On a lucky day, rhinos are spotted grazing. Thereafter depart for Serengeti with a stop for lunch en route. Arrive in Serengeti and have your first game drive en route to the camp.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5 & 6: Serengeti – Full day game drives

On these 2 days, have morning and afternoon game drives or full-day game drives with picnic lunches.

Optional Extra Activities – balloon ride and sundowners

Day 7: Serengeti –Transfer to Maasai Mara via Isebania border (Approx. 7-8 Hours)

After early breakfast, you will check out of the camp with packed lunch and depart for Maasai Mara via the Isebania Border.  You will proceed with immigration formalities at the border before proceeding to the Mara to arrive late afternoon. Enjoy a game drive as you drive to the camp for dinner. This gives you a chance to spot some of the big five and other numerous wildlife.

Alternatively, take a flight to arrive by early afternoon ($598 per person)

Overnight: Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8 & 9: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives

Spend these 2 days with either morning and afternoon game drives or full-day game drive with picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River or a good picnic spot chosen by your driver.

Optional extra activities: Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village, sun downer & bush breakfast

Overnight: Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi (Approx. 5 hours)

Have another pre-breakfast game drive then return to the camp for breakfast. Thereafter, depart for Nairobi with a stop for lunch en route. Later be dropped off at the airport for your flight.
