Day 1: Mombasa/Diani – Tsavo East National Park

Morning: Depending on your starting point, you will be picked up from your hotel/ accommodation in Mombasa or Diani Beach at around 5:00 AM. If you are departing from a cruise ship, pick up will be arranged at the Mombasa port upon your ship’s arrival.

Enjoy a scenic drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway and arrive at the Tsavo East National Park gates by mid-morning. Spend the morning exploring the park’s vast savannah plains, keeping an eye out for the park’s red-colored elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of antelopes.

Check in and have lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. In the afternoon, go on another exciting game drive, focusing on areas with high predator activity as the animals become more active in the cooler.

Dinner and overnight stay at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the African wilderness at night.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa/Diani/Cruise Ship

Wake up to a beautiful African sunrise and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge/camp. Have an early morning game drive, as this is the prime time to spot predators on the hunt.
