Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara (Approx. 60 mins)

You will be picked up by our driver on arrival at the airport or your hotel in the morning and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Our guide will meet you and transfer you from the airstrip in Mara to booked camp for check-in and lunch. Later have an evening game drive from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Overnight: Basecamp Maasai Mara/ Ashnil Mara Camp or Mara Sarova Game Camp or Mara Serena Safari Lodge or Tipilikwani Mara Camp / Ilkeliani Mara Camp/ Mara Bush Camp- Private Wing or Entim Mara or &beyond Kichwa Tembo or Sand River Mara

Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara – Full-day experience

Spend these two days on extensive game drives in the Mara Reserve. If you’re looking to see Big Cats, the Masai Mara National Reserve is an excellent place to spot them. The Mara has been called the Kingdom of Lions and these powerful hunters dominate these grasslands. Cheetahs are also common in the Mara, as are hyenas and smaller predators such as jackals. You’ll have an excellent opportunity to spot them while enjoying game drives across the Mara plains. Picnic lunch will be at a good spot by the Mara River.

You can opt for full-day game drives in the park or alternate other days with morning and evening game drives with part of the day spent at the camp/lodge enjoying its facilities.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon ride, Maasai village visit, bush walks, sundowners, bush breakfast or dinner (all at extra cost)

Today marks the end of your amazing Masai Mara safari. After breakfast, check out and have a short game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. You will have a late lunch in the city before dropping off at the hotel or airport for your outbound flight.
