Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Solio, by flight

You will be picked by our tour guide/drive from your Nairobi hotel at 8 a.m. Nanyuki flight departs at 10.20 a.m. to arrive at 11 a.m. Once you land in Nanyuki, there is a driver on standby who will transfer you to the lodge. Check in and later have lunch before an afternoon game drive at 4 o’clock.

Overnight: Solio Lodge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Solio – Full day

Spend this day with morning and afternoon game drive in Solio Ranch. Other activities included are guided nature walks, sun downer and bush meals. There is also bush volleyball and kids' activities.

Day 3: Solio - Nanyuki – Transfer to Maasai Mara (By Flight)

After breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred to Nanyuki airstrip for a flight to Mara. The flight leaves at 10.35 a.m. to arrive at 11 a.m. You will arrive at Mara you will be picked by camp’s driver. Have lunch relax before an afternoon game drive at 4 o’clock for 2 hours.

Overnight: Sand River Camp/Kichwa Tembo

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4 & 5: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives
Spend these 2 days with full-day game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits these beautiful savannah plains.

Alternatively, have morning and afternoon game drives.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village, sun downer, bush breakfast & guided nature walks

Overnight: Sand River Camp/Kichwa Tembo

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi by flight

Have breakfast then be transferred to the airstrip for mid-morning flight to Nairobi departing at 11.15 a.m. You will arrive some minutes past noon and be picked by our driver for lunch. Later be dropped at the airport or hotel of your choice.
