Departing Nairobi, the journey moves through Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru, where flamingos and diverse birdlife make for a striking introduction, and afterwards, proceed on to the Masai Mara for its celebrated wildlife and landscapes.
Crossing into Tanzania, the Serengeti’s vast plains offer the chance to witness the Great Migration in season, along with reliable Big Five sightings. A descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reveals one of Africa’s most extraordinary concentrations of wildlife.
The safari concludes in Zanzibar, where turquoise waters and white-sand beaches invite genuine relaxation. Whether you opt for water sports, a cultural excursion, or simply time to unwind, it’s a fitting end to an exceptional journey before the return flight to Nairobi.

Tour Details
Days 1-2 | Nairobi (City & Conservation)
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to the hotel
Overnight: Tamarind Tree Hotel
Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast
Day 2: Nairobi – Day tour
You will visit David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Centre after breakfast. Pick up is at 10a.m.

Days 3-4 | The Great Rift Valley (Birds & Boat Rides)
Day 3: Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Naivasha
Be picked at 9a.m and depart for Lake Naivasha. Afternoon is spent with a boat ride to Crescent Island.
Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Transfer to Lake Nakuru (Approx. 2 hours)
Have breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru. You will arrive and have a game drive till lunch time when you will have lunch. Have another game drive then later check in at booked hotel.
Overnight: Sarova Lion
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Days 5-7 | Masai Mara National Reserve
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara by road (Approx. 5 hours)
Have breakfast then depart for Mara immediately to arrive for lunch at the camp. Afternoon game drive is at 3p.m.
Overnight: Ashnil Mara or Sarova Mara
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara – Full-day game drive
These 2 whole days will be spent with full-day game drives that lead one to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. In between game drives, there will be picnic lunch along the banks of Mara River or a good picnic spot.
Overnight: Ashnil Mara or Sarova Mara

Days 8-11 | Tanzania’s Great Plains (Serengeti & Ngorongoro)
Day 8: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Serengeti (Approx. 7 – 8 hours)
Have breakfast then depart for Serengeti passing through Isebania border. Carry packed lunch with you from the lodge because you will arrive at the park past lunch hour. Have a game drive as you enter the park and later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Alternatively, take a flight to Serengeti to arrive by early afternoon.

Day 9: Serengeti – Full day
You will have a pre-breakfast and afternoon game drives or full-day game drive.

Day 10: Serengeti – Transfer to Ngorongoro (Approximately 3 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater with a game drive as you leave the park. You will view wildlife in Ngorongoro as you head to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon is spent on leisure.
Ngorongoro is quite unique as its physical protection from man natural beauty ranks it among the most pristine wilderness on the earth. It has been also declared the world heritage and is the largest intact crater in the world.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater – Full day
After breakfast, check out of the lodge with packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park.

Days 12-16 | Zanzibar Archipelago (Relaxation)
Day 12: Ngorongoro – Transfer Kilimanjaro Airport (Approx. 4 hours)
Have early breakfast then depart for Kilimanjaro Airport to catch an afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to the hotel.
