The Big Five, Guaranteed Sightings
Explore two of East Africa’s finest safari destinations on this 14-day expedition from Nairobi to Arusha.
In Kenya, the rugged terrain of Samburu National Reserve and the tranquil Sweetwaters Conservancy, home to endangered rhino, offer a interesting start, followed by Lake Nakuru’s flamingos and leopards, and the sweeping drama of the Masai Mara during the Great Migration season.
Crossing into Tanzania, the Serengeti’s vast plains deliver huge wildebeest herds and exceptional game viewing, while a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater reveals one of Africa’s most remarkable concentrations of wildlife.
The journey concludes in Tarangire National Park, where baobab-dotted savannas and abundant elephants, lions, and birdlife make for a memorable final chapter before arriving in Arusha.
