Pitching tent in the Mara North Conservancy any time soon? Mara North Conservancy is a private section in the Mara-Serengeti belt and Elephant Pepper is one of the few private camps over in the valley.

One gets to see a wide range of animals from the beasts of the land to the swift farers of the air from your tent. During the right season (July to November), you’ll get to witness the migration of Zebras and Wildebeests, one of the “Seven Wonders of the World”. As you soundly sleep in the tents, you’ll overhear the big cats as they hunt and go at it in the night and wake up to great food, guided walks and a game drive.

The camp has 8 spacious luxury safari tents which are set underneath a grove of fig and Elephant Pepper Trees, are spaced out to ensure privacy and from your personal verandah or hammock you can watch wildlife roam on the savannah plains. All the tents can fit one extra bed, to accommodate children under the age of 16 years.

Additionally, Elephant Pepper Camp has two honeymoon /family tents which are suitable for couples seeking extra space and seclusion, as well as families. Each suite has an ensuite master bedroom and a living area that can be transformed into a second bedroom for children under the age of 16. The luxurious restrooms feature double sinks, flush toilets, and hot water showers.

The Honeymoon / Family Suites are located at either end of the camp and offer amazing views of the savannah plains from your private veranda.

The Mara North Airstrip is 30 minutes away from camp while Musiara airstrip is about an hour’s drive from camp. Both are 45-minute flights from Wilson International Airport.
