Ingagi Park View

Ingagi Park is a private island sanctuary for critically endangered mountain gorillas, located in the Virunga Mountains of Rwanda. The distance between Ingagi Park View Lodge and the Volcanoes National Park’s main entrance, where gorilla trekking begins, is around 10 minutes by car.
It is situated in an area of around 5 hectares, and due to its seclusion, only 8 roomy chalets with a stunning view of the chain of the Virunga Volcanoes are available. Outside, the well-built chalets have an eco-friendly appearance and are constructed of local materials, which complements the surrounding landscape. However, inside, the comfort levels exceed even that of a European norm. To combat the chilly evening breeze, indoor fires are present in every room.

Ingagi Park is home to a group of 12 mountain gorillas, including 2 silverbacks. The gorillas are habituated to human presence, which means that they are accustomed to being around people and are not afraid of them. This makes Igangi Park a unique and special place to see these amazing creatures in their natural habitat.

Accommodation at the park is categorized into royal cottage, twin deluxe room, deluxe room, triple cottage room, twin cottage room and a deluxe single cottage.
