Dress for comfort. Comfortable shoes, light clothing, long sleeves, and full-length pants keep bugs from biting. Avoid wearing shorts.

A light jacket will keep you warm at night or in case it rains.

Wear dull colors – green, tan, and brown will blend in. Blue jeans are okay.

A wide hat will protect your skin from the sun.

When to Visit Lake Mburo

The dry seasons are the best for game drives. Lake Mburo National Park has two dry seasons.

A longer dry season runs from June to August. A second one runs from December to February.

Dry seasons are cool and dry. They are your best opportunity for a game drive.

Wildlife sightings are easier because of thin undergrowth. There are fewer bugs during the dry season. And animals will gather around the water points.
