Pelican House

Pelican House is a cozy cottage that sleeps up to 8 people and is perfect for families or groups of friends. It is located in the east of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, within easy reach of the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Baraka the blind black rhino, and Morani’s Restaurant.

The cottage overlooks the serene Pelican Dam, which is frequently visited by wildlife, especially in the dry season. The verandah is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast with the dawn chorus or a sundowner after a day’s safari.

Pelican House offers comfortable accommodation with two large en-suite double rooms and a third double bedroom with a separate bathroom. There is also a double suite in the garden with its own bathroom. Guests can either bring their own food or opt for the fully catered option, which includes lunch, dinner, and breakfast. The kitchen is well-equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, electric oven, and fridge/freezer.

Housekeeping is provided, and there is a chef available at an additional cost. Electricity is supplied by a generator for 8 hours a day, and telephone reception is limited. However, there is free Wi-Fi available.

Pelican House is the perfect base to explore Ol Pejeta Conservancy and offers a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.
