Virunga Lodge
Virunga Lodge is in a less convenient but more spectacular location compared to the other lodges. The views are more dramatic. You will need a 4*4 vehicle to get there.
The lodge overlooks Virunga Volcanoes, Lake Ruhondo, Lake Bulera, and Musanze Valley. At night you can see the city lights in the distance as well. There are classic hand-made pieces all over the property.
Virunga Lodge has ten bandas. Each banda has a balcony for taking in the fantastic views. Three are deluxe bandas with two bedrooms and a lounge.
