Day 1: Mombasa/Diani/Malindi - Tsavo East (Approx. 2-3 hours) - Saltlick
Pick up from your Mombasa hotel at 6.30a.m. and immediately drive to Tsavo East which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. You will have a game drive as soon as you arrive till lunch time when you will have lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Later have another game drive before heading to Saltlick for overnight stay.
Saltlick Safari Lodge has a waterhole that all animals converge at the end of the day for water and play. You can watch animals up close from the dining and common areas. You can also view then from a distance from your room.
Overnight: Saltlick Safari Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Saltlick – Transfer to Amboseli, (Approx. 3 hours)
Have early breakfast then a short game drive before you depart for Amboseli. You will arrive in time early afternoon and have a game drive as soon as you arrive till 6pm when you check in at the lodge/camp.
Overnight: Kibo/Ol Tukai or Amboseli Serena
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Amboseli – Transfer to Nairobi (Approx. 4 hours)
Have an early morning game drive for 2 hours (6.30-8.30 a.m.) before coming back for breakfast. Thereafter, depart for Nairobi and be dropped at your hotel
