Day 1: Diani/Mombasa/Malindi – Transfer to Tsavo East (Approx. 2-3 hours)

You will be picked by the driver from your Beach Hotel at 7 a.m. and immediately head for Tsavo East. You will arrive by mid-morning and have a game drive en route to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.

Overnight: Ashnil Aruba/Voi Wildlife/Satao Camp

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Tsavo East – Full-day game drive

Have either full-day game drive with picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives.

Overnight: Ashnil Aruba/Voi Wildlife/Satao Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Tsavo East – Transfer to Amboseli (Approx. 3 hours)

Have breakfast and immediately depart for Amboseli enjoying a short game drive as you leave the park. You will arrive in Amboseli before lunch time. Check in and later enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 4 O’clock for 2 hours. Return later to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight: Kibo/Amboseli Serena or Ol Tukai/Tawi Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 4: Amboseli – Full day

Have a morning game drive from 6a.m. till 9a.m. Return to the camp for breakfast. Afternoon game drive is at 3o’clock for 3 hours.

Overnight: Kibo/Amboseli Serena or Ol Tukai/Tawi Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 5: Amboseli – Transfer to Aberdares (Approx. 6-7 hours)

Have early breakfast then depart for Aberdares to arrive in time for lunch. Thereafter, you will have a joint game drive to The Ark lodge. The lodge has a deck where you can watch animals drinking water from the waterhole near it.

Overnight: The Ark

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 6: Aberdares – Transfer to Samburu (Approx. 4 hours)

Have breakfast then be transferred to the gate where you will meet with your driver then depart for Samburu passing through the equator line to Samburu land. Arrive with a short game drive en route to the camp for lunch. After lunch, relax before a game drive at 4p.m. Samburu Park has unique residents including the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich.

Overnight: Samburu Sopa/Ashnil Samburu/Elephant Bedroom Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 7: Samburu – Full day

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of unique northern Kenya species such as the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. Much of the reserve consists of desert landscape; dusty red plains broken by thorny scrub, featuring dramatic views of table top Mt Ol Olokwe on the horizon. All meals are taken at the camp.

Day 8: Samburu – Transfer to Sweetwaters (Approx. 3 hours)

Have breakfast then head to Sweetwaters. This is a beautiful private game reserve and home to rare species such as Beisa oryx, Rothschild’s giraffe and black rhino. Game drives here reveal the full range of African wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and hippo. Enjoy a private visit with the tame animals at the wildlife orphanage. Observe chimps at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Overnight: Sweetwaters Serena Camp/Jambo Mutara/Pelican House
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 9: Sweetwaters – Transfer to Lake Nakuru

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive is at 3/4p.m

Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill/Sarova Woodlands/Lake Nakuru Sopa
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 10: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 4-5hrs)

Have an early breakfast then depart for Maasai Mara to arrive for lunch at the camp. Have lunch then have a game drive as you head to Serena for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight: Zebra Plains/Ashnil Mara or Sarova Mara/Entim Camp or Mara Bush Camp (Private Wing)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 11 & 12: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives

These 2 days will be spent with morning and afternoon game drives that lead one to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. Accommodations include en suite restroom facilities and secluded verandas.

Optional Activities: Balloon ride and visit to Maasai Village

Overnight: Zebra Plains/Ashnil Mara or Sarova Mara/Entim Camp or Mara Bush Camp (Private Wing)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 13: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Lake Naivasha (Approx. 4-5 hrs)

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Naivasha. Afternoon is spent with a boat ride to Crescent Island for a walk.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa/Chui Lodge/Cresent Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 14: Lake Naivasha – Transfer to Nairobi (Approx. 1 hour, 30 minutes)

Have breakfast then depart for Nairobi. Arrive and be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
