What to wear while on Safari in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

The idea is to protect your skin from scratches and bug bites. Exposing your arms and legs makes your skin vulnerable to abrasion from nettles, thorns, and branches.

Full-length pants and long-sleeved shirts rule. Stick to sturdy fabric like cotton and khaki. A light raincoat or jacket will protect you in case of rain. Wear a hat too. Sturdy shoes will make gorilla trekking easier.
