Chimpanzee Forest Guest House

Do you fancy beautiful landscape and vegetation, the green of trees and clean air? Are you in or around Kibale National Park, Uganda? If so, you’ll want to consider Chimpanzee Forest Lodge that’s 22 Km out of Fort Portal. You can’t beat the views of nature and the rich history of colonial times offered by this lodge. Chimpanzee Forest Lodge has tastefully appointed self-contained cottages with a panoramic view of the Kibale Forest National Park and the nearby Tea plantations. The lodge also provides accommodation in a large ancient colonial house that was once home to the British commissioner in the 1950s. It has two self-contained rooms in a colonial setting with excellent views of Kibale National Park, the Tea plantation, and the crater lake. Alternatively, camp on flat grassy locations away from the home that provide shade and seclusion.

If you didn’t catch it from the name, yes there are chimpanzees in the forest so pack a banana peel, let’s meet up with some apes.
