Ngutuni Safari Lodge

Ngutuni Safari Lodge sits within its own 10,000-acre private game sanctuary on the fringe of Tsavo East National Park, near Voi. Built from timber poles with thatched roofs and waxed timber decking, the lodge overlooks a busy waterhole where elephant, buffalo, zebra, giraffe — and occasionally lion — come to drink throughout the day and night, all set against the backdrop of the Sagala Hills.

The lodge is about 15 minutes from Tsavo East's main gate and roughly an hour from Tsavo West and the Taita Hills, making it a convenient base for exploring both parks. By road it's approximately 2.5 hours from Mombasa and around 335 kilometres (5–6 hours) from Nairobi.

Ngutuni has 48 rooms across four two-storey blocks, accommodating up to 133 guests. Twin Rooms have two single beds and a furnished balcony overlooking the waterhole; Family Rooms sleep up to three adults, or two adults and a child, with one double and one single bed; and King Double Rooms feature a king-size bed, tea/coffee facilities, a mini-fridge, and a private balcony over the waterhole.
