Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Samburu (Approx. 5 hours)

You will be picked at 7a.m from Saab Hotel – South C and immediately depart for Samburu passing through the equator line to Samburu land. You will have lunch en route to the lodge. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m. for 2 hours.

Samburu Park has unique residents including the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich.

Day 2: Samburu – Full day

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of unique northern Kenya species such as the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. Much of the reserve consists of desert landscape; dusty red plains broken by thorny scrub, featuring dramatic views of table top Mt Ol Olokwe on the horizon. All meals are taken at the camp.

Day 3: Samburu – Transfer to Lake Nakuru by road, approx. 5 hours

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru arriving before lunch time. Later afternoon game drive to see the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park among other wildlife.

Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Day trip to Lake Bogoria – Transfer to Lake Naivasha 

Have breakfast then head to Lake Bogoria to see flamingos. Have guided nature walks on the shores of the lake. Later have lunch then head to Lake Naivasha.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 4-5 hours)

Have an early breakfast then depart for Maasai Mara to arrive for lunch at the camp. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive at 3 o’clock till 6p.m.

Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives

These 2 whole days will be spent with full-day game drives that lead one to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. In between game drives, there will be picnic lunch along the banks of Mara River.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Serengeti

Have breakfast then depart for Serengeti passing through Isebania border. Carry packed lunch with you from the lodge because you will arrive at the park past lunch hour. Have a game drive as you enter the park and later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Alternatively, take a flight to Serengeti to arrive by early afternoon ($578 per person).

Day 9: Serengeti – Full day

Spend this whole day with morning and afternoon game drivers within the Great Serengeti. Serengeti is the home to Africa’s Big Five. All meals will be taken at the camp.

Day 10: Serengeti – Transfer to Ngorongoro (Approximately 3 hours)
After breakfast, you will be picked by our guide and depart for Ngorongoro Crater Enjoy an introductory game drive as you arrive at the crater as you head to the lodge. There will be no other game drive so spend the remaining hours at leisure enjoying walking around the surrounding areas and exploring the lodge’s facilities.

Ngorongoro is quite unique as its physical protection from man natural beauty ranks it among the most pristine wilderness on the earth.  It has been also declared the world heritage and is the largest intact crater in the world.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater – Full day

After breakfast, check out of the lodge with packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park.

Day 12: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Tarangire (Approx. 2 hours)
Have early breakfast then depart for Tarangire. Arrive before lunch time and have a game drive en route to the camp. Check in at the camp, have lunch, relax and later enjoy a game drive at 4o’clock.

Day 13: Tarangire – Transfer to Amboseli (Via Namanga, by road)
After breakfast at the lodge depart to the Namanga border. Clear customs and immigration formalities then join Kenya tour driver and proceed to Amboseli. Once you arrive at the park, you will enjoy a game drive as you head to the camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.

Look out for large herds of elephants, lions, leopard, gazelles, wild dogs and the magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Overnight: Kibo

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 14: Amboseli – Full day

Spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives with stay in the camp in between.

Day 15: Amboseli – Transfer to Tsavo West (Approx. 2-3 hours)

Have breakfast then head to Tsavo West to arrive by mid-morning. Have a game drive as soon as you arrive as you head to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon visit Mzima springs where you may view the crocodiles and hippos swimming under water. You will also be driven to the “shetani” lava flows and have a view of Chyulu Hills too.

Overnight: Kilaguni Serena

Day 16: Tsavo West – Transfer to Tsavo East (Approx. 2 hours)

Have breakfast then depart for Tsavo East with a game drive as you leave the park. Once in Tsavo East, have a short game drive as you head to the lodge for lunch. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive at 4p.m.
